Our 2 kids were at this daycare for three years, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, the owner, director and teachers created such a warm and welcoming environment that immediately put us at ease as parents.

The teachers are truly special; caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in the kids. Every day we dropped our children off, we felt confident they were safe, happy, and well cared for.

One of the things we loved most was the well-rounded program. The weekly music and dance classes were something our kids looked forward to. We also really appreciated how the school celebrates different cultural holidays throughout the year.

This daycare has played such an important role in our children’s early years, and we’re so thankful for the love and care they received here. We’ll truly miss being part of this community and highly recommend it to any family looking for a nurturing and enriching place for their little ones!!!

Our daughter attended this daycare from 18 months to 3.5 years, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The teachers were incredibly attentive, caring, and truly dedicated to each child’s development. The curriculum is excellent–STEM-based with a great balance of structure and play, which kept our daughter engaged and constantly learning.

We especially appreciated the focus on art, crafts, and music, which really helped her creativity blossom. Even after moving on, she still talks fondly about her time there and often says how much she misses her teachers and friends. We’re so grateful for the warm and enriching environment that helped shape her early years.

Building Kidz is a parent’s dream come true. They provide a warm, welcoming, fun and safe environment for their students and have a very organized curriculum and schedule each day. For those of you who suffer from anxiety and worried about what your little one’s are doing when they are not with you, the school provides an app that updates you on their daily activities (this includes: their meals, playtime, activities, dance, naps, etc.) they keep you well updated on all events, emergencies and anything that you would find useful. What makes this school stand out to me the most, is how my husband and I have seen our daughter behave during pick up. Prior to getting into Building Kidz, my daughter (and her 3 older siblings) were at different preschools, all enjoyed it but would be ready ready to go home as soon as they saw either my husband or I at the door for pick up, at Building Kidz, however, our daughter is in no rush to go home, even after being at school for 8-plus hours! Sometimes we’d have to wait and force her to go home, that’s what set this school apart for us, when your own kids aren’t in a rush to go home.

I am very sad that this is my daughter’s last year here since she is going to Kindergarten, but I am so grateful to have watched her be a part of such a wonderful program. If you are looking for a trustworthy place to care for your children, I couldn’t recommend Building Kidz, San Carlos enough and would suggest you enroll them right away as it has a long waiting list for a reason!

My daughter has been attending BK for over two years now, my son attended this school for pre K as well. It has been a positive experience and I highly recommend this school. Their teachers have been so caring but also teach them about rule following, respect and good citizenship.
The staff’s dedication to providing a nurturing environment for both play and learning is truly commendable.
In addition to above, What sets this daycare/Pre K apart is:
1) their unique focus on theatre, music, and dance, which has not only sparked my daughter’s creativity but also helped her develop confidence and expressiveness.The biannual shows are always a highlight for us as parents, seeing how much the children grow and shine on stage under the guidance of the caring instructors.
2) the emphasis on building community through holiday events and celebrations has created a warm and inclusive atmosphere.
3) They have share days and theme days every Friday. Share days for older kids allows them to build confidence by sharing in front of class. Theme days make Fridays so fun !!
4) The school has an app so you can see pictures and get updates thru the app. This also includes the daily curriculum which is very structured.
5) they invite special guests as part of learning theme. This includes a science teacher, firemen, recycleogy, dentists etc.
6) Because this is a franchise there is no shortage of staff and they can rotate teachers in as required.

I highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a well-rounded early childhood education experience that prioritizes both fun and development.

Every day my toddler talks about her teachers and friends all the way to school and then protests when it’s time to leave. Great people, communicative caretakers who always tell me all about my kid’s day, great hours, and above all a really, really happy kid.

This place is one of the friendliest and most professional places For kids! As a working single mom I depend on a loving place for my daughter to give me peace of mind while at work all day. Thank you for your wonderful care toward the kids. You guys are the best!

While seeking a new preschool for two of my three children (4 months and 4 years), I stumbled upon the Building Kidz Schools and their newest location, Redwood City. My family is in process of relocating to the Bay Area and Stephanie has been so accommodating! We were able to schedule a virtual tour of the school and met last week while we were in town for an in person tour.
The facility is clean, secure, and the staff is so friendly! Stephanie was extremely knowledgeable, welcoming, and you can tell that she truly cares about the school and the children.
Each classroom was beautifully designed, themed, and clean. We love the creative aspect our children will have here with career exploration, music, caring teachers and attentive staff.
We cannot wait for our relocation now that we have secured such a wonderful school. Our four year old asks daily when she gets to go back!
